Don't Stop Dreaming!

The Heart And Hope Blog Title Graphic: Don't Stop Dreaming

The Dream That Wouldn’t Let Go

In 2018, God whispered something unexpected into my spirit: Write. Not just for myself, but for children, teens, families, and communities who needed a simple, joyful way to engage with His Word. I didn’t know where that whisper would lead. I only knew it was real.

Two years later, in 2020, that whisper became my first published Bible journal. What started as a quiet nudge became a full book—born from obedience, faith, and the belief that it is never too late to dream again.

  • Never too late to pivot.

  • Never too late to rediscover purpose.

  • Never too late for the Lord to work through you in ways you never imagined.

From One Book to a Full Vision

What began as a single act of obedience has now blossomed into Rev. Dr. Deb S., LLC—a ministry-centered business offering a wide range of services perfected over my 49-year career in education, leadership, ministry, and community service.

Bible journaling was the seed. The business is the harvest. And God is still adding chapters.

A Word to the One Who’s Afraid to Leap

This message is for the person who feels something stirring inside but is afraid to be vulnerable… afraid to start over… afraid to try something new.

I understand that fear. I’ve lived that fear. And I am a witness that God will guide you.

Entrepreneurship is not just about business—it’s about courage. It’s about trusting that the gifts inside you were placed there on purpose. It’s about leaning on loved ones, believing in your own abilities, and letting God order your steps even when the path feels unfamiliar.

Your age does not disqualify you. Your past does not limit you. Your hesitation does not stop God’s plan.

When legacy becomes the conversation, the real question becomes: What mark will you leave? How will your impact be remembered?

Stepping Into a New Season

After nearly five decades of serving in education and leadership, I am announcing my retirement effective September 30, 2026. This next chapter is both exciting and humbling. I am stepping fully into my calling—100% into my own business, my ministry, and the work God has entrusted to me.

Yes, there are trepidations. Yes, there are unknowns. But my steps are ordered by the Lord, and I walk forward with peace.

My Encouragement to You

Take the leap. Challenge yourself. Reach for the heights God has already prepared for you.

Dreams don’t age. Purpose doesn’t expire. And God never stops using those who make themselves available.

Your legacy is being written right now. Make it one that reflects courage, faith, and the boldness to become everything God created you to be.

With Gratitude and Grace,

Rev. Dr. Deb S.
